What does General Motors say on the subject?

The best way to educate the consumer on engine oil, transmission fluid and differential oil is the industry telling the truth to the consumer. Just Tell em the truth. How long does oil need to stay in the vehicle until it need be changed? A GM executive said in September, 2005 "with improvements in the oil and only minor changes in engine technology, average drain intervals of greater then 30,000 miles will soon be possible". He went on to state we soon will be able to "break the 40,000 mile barrier". That is about 12 times the recommendations of most US quick-lube chains. Even now, using today's ILSAC GF-4 engine oils and model year 2005 engine technology, customers can achieve drain intervals of 20,000 miles, GM's Jim Spearot told Lubes 'n' Greases. Having said this...there is no action by GM to put increased drain interval's into motion.

On October 5, 2005 Chevron Oil Company had a full page ad in the Washington Post urging motorist to "Slow down. Save gas." Cutting back our driving speed by 10 MPH, from 65 to 55, could help make up the country's one million-barrel-a-day oil shortage, an aftermath of the Gulf storms, the ad said. There was nothing in that article detailing what Chevron could do to save our resources. David McFall, Automotive Editor for Lube' N 'Greases Magazine, comments that Chevron in concert with all other major oil companies remains mute on advising consumers on rational, coherent engine oil drain intervals. Or on the worthlessness of aftermarket lubricant additives they sell. According to API, American Petroleum Institute just one half gallon of lubricants are produced from one 42 gallon barrel of crude oil. Incredible. Just think....every drop of AMSOIL Synthetic Oil is made from All American material and all the money spent on it stays in the USA. David McFall is a Patriot.

Why would the Major oil companies not get with our National Conservation policy in this one area and transition to 100% USA made synthetic oil and lubricants? The market is open to them. But, they are making so much money with inflated petrolium gasoline sales that it will not happen until something makes it an economic necessity for them... Big Oil... not the consumer who is the victim of this abuse. The consumer needs relief now. We need all major oil companies to transition their lubricants, grease of all types...... everything but gasoline over to synthetic's. That could be done right now. That would enhance their business for the long haul...... but they think short term. And they are afraid synthetics will reduce consumption and reduce their profits. Conservation of resources is for others. Who will break this endless cycle and lead the way? Patriot's will have to do it themselves.

Big oil, like the tobacco companies when testifying before Congress... I can still picture them on TV raising their right hand to say "there is no proof that cigarettes will effect your health". Now we know the rest of the story. The oil industry continues to lie to the consumer, distort the market and waste petroleum resources in a way dangerous to our Nations Environment and long term National interests. Why? Money. Your money. Big oil is not a Patriot.

The Battle Rages

In a recent Lubricants World Magazine interview the president of a major national quick lube chain (which is owned by a major petroleum oil company) states that if they can get customers to shorten their drain intervals by 100 miles it would mean an additional $20 million in revenue for the company per year and if they can get consumers to do one more oil change per year it would mean $294 million for the oil change alone and $441 million in revenue when they include ancillary products and services that go along with the oil change. In fact, the president of the quick lube chain openly admits that the bottom line is profits.

We have a shortage of oil in the world. Yet, Big Oil, wants to waste this resource by draining perfectly good oil and selling you on the notion that it is no longer usabe and has to be changed. They, BIG OIL, are selling you a lie. The cause is Greed. The resource be damned. The environment ignored. They are not Patriots.

The shorter the drain interval the more money the quick lube makes according to Big Oil. WE DO NOT AGREE.

The way we see it is extending (increasing) drain intervals 100 miles would mean an additional $20 million in revenue SAVINGS for the Consumer per year and if a Patriot can get consumers to do one LESS oil change per year it would mean $294 million IN CONSUMER SAVINGS for the oil change alone and $441 million in revenue SAVINGS when you include ancillary products and services that go along with the oil change. WOW! This does not even consider saved resources and less burden on the environment.

Listen to me. A Patriot and true American can not be blind to the opportunity in this debate. This is a opportunity to dream, build and succeed. CONSIDER THIS:

One AMSOIL oil change .... 35,000 Mile/One Year Oil Interval Guaranteed/More with Oil Analysis, One AMSOIL 25,000 Mile/1 Year Oil Filter Guaranteed costs $99.00.

1. A 6 month or 1 Year Oil Drain Interval saves a Patriots time, increases the lube dealers profit and all done with the same number of employees. It frees up manpower.

2. A 6 month or 1 Year Oil Drain Interval saves a Patriots time, increases the lube dealers profit and all done on the same real-estate. They can increase marketing, double their business and without increasing the size of their expensive commercial buildings or taxes.

3. A 6 month or 1 Year Oil Drain Interval saves a Patriots time, increases the lube dealers profit and all done using the same amount of equiptment. Double the income without investing in more equipment!

Yes, you can only do this with 100% Synthetic AMSOIL that is manufactured in the United States of America. Yes, that means all income stays right here in America. Yes it reduces our consumption of middle east oil; Yes it reduces the annual cost of oil for the American Consumer; Yes it reduces the demands on our Environment. What could be better then that? It sounds better everytime I say it.

How can we get Lube Dealers to change? They need an attitude adjustment. And we need many Patriots to seek this positive change.

You can join us in this effort. You can Choose not to be a common man. It is your right to be uncommon... if you can. Just seek this opportunity. Do not seek to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after you. Take the calculated risk to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. Refuse to barter incentive for a dole. It is your heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid. Be a Patriot doing his/her part in the shared cause of FREEDOM in doing whats necessary to eliminate America's addiction to MIDDLE EAST OIL. It is altogether fitting and proper that we do this. Change will only come from Patriots in the marketplace demanding that we all do whats good for America in our business activity and consumer spending. When it comes to oil, grease and lubricants all real Patriot's will chose AMSOIL over MIDDLE EAST OIL everytime.

When you purchase AMSOIL products you are doing your part. Every 35,000 mile oil change we sell saves up to seven additional oil changes for those customers who change oil every 3,000 miles. That's about thirty-five quarts of oil that does not have to be refined or disposed of. Multiply those thirty-five quarts by the total number of people we transition to AMSOIL daily and we start to make a small dent in our oil consumption.

Be a Great American! Buy AMSOIL!! Sell AMSOIL!!! Use AMSOIL!!! You are going to like the way you feel. We guarantee it.
